With over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry, I understand the journey.

When I began my career, I completed two years of college training and worked in salons to gain experience. That training gave me a solid foundation, but I quickly realised that mastering nail techniques was only part of the puzzle.

Like many others, I turned to social media for guidance and inspiration. But social media only shows a small snippet of what real life in this industry is actually like. Behind the perfect photos and success stories, no one talks about the challenges. Struggling to attract clients, handling difficult situations, setting boundaries, and feeling overwhelmed by it all. I found myself caught up in comparison, chasing trends instead of focusing on what truly mattered.

When I began my teaching journey in 2020, I quickly realised that community was everything. Having worked alone for most of my career, I hadn’t realised how isolating it had been until I started connecting with other professionals. That sense of connection changed everything.
